Our Mission

Martin's mission is to provide a competitive combination of the finest tires with the most dependable service. Our philosophy is to build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the Palouse region. We strive to continuously provide honest and trustworthy service with quality, name brand products, enabling us to achieve a goal of being recognized as a premier tire and auto service provider in the area.

Established in 1954 as a Goodyear Tire store by William H. Martin as owner/manager and Roy Krauss as Sales Manager.Also did tire recapping at that time. Roy Krauss became a stock holder and partner in 1970 and the company was incorporated. Mr. Martin passed away in 1975 and his son William R. Martin became President of the Corporation. Major remodels were done in 1967, 1978, and 1990. Closed the retread plant in Moscow in 1974 and opened a larger one in Lewiston, Idaho of which Bill Martin was manager. Martin's became a major auto repair center in the mid 80's. Wayne Krauss joined the Company in 1973 after returning from military service. Roy Krauss retired in 1990 and Bill Martin sold the truck tire center in Lewiston and retired in 2001. Wayne has been the manager of the Moscow store since 1990. Martin's Auto Service continues to be a major tire retailer and auto service center in the Palouse Region.
